Flight Information from Bali

This Lake Toba and Gunung Leuser Tour starts and ends at Kualanamu International Airport in Medan. Guests traveling from Bali should fly from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) to Kualanamu International Airport (KNO).

Bali to Medan Flight

Flight options between Bali and Medan may include a direct service or one transit in Jakarta or Surabaya, depending on the airline and travel date. A direct flight takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes, while a connecting flight normally takes 5–8 hours or longer.

Because flight schedules may change, we strongly recommend arriving in Medan one day before the tour begins. This prevents a late arrival from affecting the transfer to Bukit Lawang and the next day’s orangutan trekking program.

Medan to Bali Flight

After the final night in Medan, we will provide a private transfer to Kualanamu International Airport. Guests may book a direct or connecting flight back to Bali according to the available schedule.

We recommend choosing a departure after 10:00 a.m. to allow enough time for breakfast, hotel check-out, and the airport transfer.
