Komodo Luxury Dive Package from Bali – 4 Days 3 Nights

Experience world-class diving, dramatic island scenery, and rare wildlife on this Komodo Dive Liveaboard Experience from Bali. This 4-day, 3-night journey combines exhilarating dives in Komodo National Park with a guided Komodo dragon trek, a Padar Island adventure, and relaxing moments aboard a traditional wooden liveaboard.

Your journey starts with a short flight from Bali to Labuan Bajo, the gateway to Komodo National Park. From there, you will sail through turquoise waters, explore remote islands, and dive at some of Indonesia’s most celebrated underwater sites. Every day brings a new experience, from colorful coral gardens and turtle encounters to manta rays, reef sharks, and enormous schools of tropical fish.

Discover the Natural Wonders of Komodo National Park

Komodo National Park offers much more than exceptional diving. Its rugged islands, hidden beaches, clear waters, and unique wildlife create an unforgettable setting for an Indonesian marine adventure.

During this luxury Komodo diving package, you will visit Kelor Island, join a ranger-led trek on Rinca Island, and admire the legendary panorama from Padar Island. You will also have the chance to see Komodo dragons, Timor deer, wild boars, water buffalo, monkeys, and native bird species in their natural environment.

Kelor Island and Rinca Island Adventure

After arriving at Komodo Airport in Labuan Bajo, meet your guide and travel by air-conditioned vehicle to the harbor. Step aboard a comfortable motorized wooden boat with guest cabins and begin sailing through the beautiful Komodo archipelago.

Your first stop is Kelor Island, a peaceful destination surrounded by clear water and scenic hills. Swim, snorkel, or simply relax on the beach before continuing toward Rinca Island.

At Rinca Island, an official park ranger will guide you through the dry savannah landscape in search of Komodo dragons. This guided trek offers a remarkable opportunity to observe the world’s largest lizards in their natural habitat.

Padar Island Trekking and Panoramic Views

The package also includes a visit to Padar Island, one of Indonesia’s most photographed destinations. Climb to its famous viewpoint and admire the curved bays, rugged hills, and contrasting beaches below.

The trek requires moderate physical fitness, but the breathtaking scenery makes every step worthwhile. An early visit may also provide cooler temperatures and beautiful sunrise colors across the islands.

World-Class Diving in Komodo National Park

Strong ocean currents carry nutrient-rich water through Komodo National Park. As a result, the region supports thriving coral reefs and remarkable marine biodiversity, of Komodo Dive Liveaboard Experience.

This Komodo diving liveaboard tour explores several renowned dive sites, including Batu Bolong, Manta Point, Siaba Besar, Mawan Island, Tatawa Besar, and Sebayur. Each location provides a different underwater landscape and marine encounter.

Dive at Batu Bolong and Manta Point

Batu Bolong features a spectacular underwater pinnacle covered with colorful hard and soft corals. Divers can encounter large schools of fusiliers, trevallies, sweetlips, reef sharks, turtles, rays, and countless reef fish.

Next, visit Manta Point, one of the best-known manta diving locations in Komodo. Here, manta rays often glide above the sandy seabed or gather near cleaning stations. Because mantas are wild animals, sightings cannot be guaranteed. However, diving at this site remains an exciting part of the journey.

Explore Siaba Besar, Mawan and Tatawa Besar

Often called “Turtle City,” Siaba Besar offers beautiful coral gardens and frequent green turtle encounters. Its gentler areas also create excellent conditions for enjoying Komodo’s smaller reef creatures.

At Mawan Island, explore colorful reefs and sandy slopes where manta rays may occasionally appear. Meanwhile, Tatawa Besar offers an exciting drift dive across flourishing soft corals. Divers may encounter groupers, sweetlips, reef sharks, turtles, and dense schools of tropical fish.

Discover Sebayur’s Colorful Coral Reefs

Sebayur Island completes the diving portion of this Komodo marine expedition. Its sloping reef features healthy corals, clear water, and diverse marine life. Depending on the diving conditions, you may see moray eels, lionfish, groupers, snappers, turtles, and reef sharks.

All dive sites remain subject to weather, currents, diver experience, and decisions made by the cruise director or divemaster. This flexibility helps ensure a safer and more enjoyable experience.

Comfortable Komodo Liveaboard Experience

Your traditional Indonesian liveaboard provides a comfortable base throughout the island journey. Relax in your cabin, enjoy freshly prepared meals, and spend your free time admiring the scenery from the deck.

The boat allows you to stay close to remote dive locations while avoiding repeated transfers from Labuan Bajo. Moreover, waking up among Komodo’s quiet islands adds a special sense of adventure to the trip.

This package suits certified divers who want to combine multiple Komodo dive sites with wildlife, trekking, snorkeling, and island exploration. Boat facilities and cabin categories may vary according to your selected liveaboard option.

Labuan Bajo and Batu Cermin Cave Tour

After completing your liveaboard journey, return to Labuan Bajo and spend the night at a comfortable hotel. On the final day, explore a traditional local market and experience the everyday atmosphere of this lively harbor town.

Continue to Batu Cermin Cave, also known as Mirror Stone Cave. Inside, limestone passages reveal striking stalactites, stalagmites, and fascinating rock formations. After the visit, transfer to Komodo Airport for your return flight to Bali.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this Komodo Dive Liveaboard Experience suitable for beginners?

This package is best suited to certified divers with previous diving experience. Several Komodo dive sites have strong and changing currents. We recommend an Advanced Open Water certification or adequate experience in drift diving. The divemaster will assess each participant’s certification, experience, and comfort level before choosing suitable dive sites.

How many dives are included?

The package includes up to nine guided dives. The actual number and location of dives may change because of weather, currents, sea conditions, flight schedules, safety considerations, or decisions made by the divemaster and boat captain.

Do I need a diving certificate?

Yes. You must hold a valid scuba-diving certification from a recognized organization, such as PADI, SSI, NAUI, or an equivalent agency. Please send us a copy of your certification and recent dive history before booking.

What if I have not dived recently?

Divers who have not dived within the last 6–12 months may need to complete a scuba refresher course before departure. Please tell us the date of your most recent dive so we can provide the appropriate recommendation.

Is diving equipment included?

Yes. The package includes standard diving equipment. Please provide your height, weight, shoe size, and equipment requirements in advance. Personal dive computers and dive insurance are strongly recommended.

Is the liveaboard privately chartered?

Yes. This package includes a private chartered liveaboard with air-conditioned cabins. The boat, crew, meals, and planned activities are arranged exclusively for your group.

What type of cabin is provided?

The liveaboard provides air-conditioned guest cabins. Cabin layout, bedding, private-bathroom availability, and other facilities depend on the selected boat. We will confirm the complete boat specifications before you make a payment.

Are flights from Bali included?

Yes. Return domestic flights between Denpasar Airport in Bali and Komodo Airport in Labuan Bajo are included. Flight schedules remain subject to airline availability and may change without prior notice.

Are hotel transfers in Bali included?

Yes. Return transfers between Denpasar Airport and hotels in Sanur, Kuta, and Seminyak are included. Transfers from other areas may require an additional charge.

What meals are included?

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided aboard the liveaboard. Tea, coffee, and unlimited bottled mineral water are also included. Please inform us in advance about allergies, vegetarian meals, or other dietary requirements.

Are Komodo National Park entrance fees included?

Yes. The package includes the standard Komodo National Park entrance fees stated in the itinerary. Any newly introduced government charges or special activity fees will be explained before booking.

Will we definitely see manta rays and Komodo dragons?

Komodo dragons are commonly seen during ranger-guided treks, while manta rays often visit Manta Point and nearby cleaning stations. However, these are wild animals, so sightings cannot be guaranteed.

Is the Padar Island trek difficult?

The trek involves many steps and exposed uphill sections. Travelers should have moderate fitness and wear comfortable walking shoes. The climb can feel hot during the day, so an early-morning visit is usually more comfortable.

When is the best time to take this Komodo dive trip?

Komodo diving operates throughout the year, but conditions vary by season and area. From approximately April to November, the weather usually offers calmer seas and easier access to many central and northern dive sites. The captain and divemaster will adjust the route according to current conditions.

Is travel insurance required?

Travel insurance is not included. We strongly recommend comprehensive insurance that covers scuba diving, medical emergencies, evacuation, flight disruption, trip cancellation, and lost belongings.

Can I fly immediately after the final dive?

No. Divers must allow a safe surface interval before flying. A minimum of 18–24 hours after the final dive is generally recommended. The diving schedule will be arranged around the confirmed return flight.

What should I bring?

Bring your diving certification, logbook, swimwear, lightweight clothing, reef-safe sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, personal toiletries, walking shoes, and any personal medication. A reusable bottle, underwater camera, and personal dive computer are also useful.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least four months in advance. For travel between June and August, booking five months ahead is advisable because private liveaboards, cabins, and domestic flights can sell out quickly.

Can the itinerary change?

Yes. The route and dive sites may change because of weather, currents, marine-park regulations, boat conditions, or safety considerations. The boat captain and divemaster have final authority over the daily program.

How can I book this package?

Please contact us before booking. Send your preferred travel dates, number of participants, diving certification level, total number of logged dives, date of your latest dive, and preferred cabin arrangement. We will then confirm the boat, flights, hotel, availability, and final price.
