About this activity

nEmbarking on a 3-day rainforest cruise tour in Sebangau National Park promises an unforgettable adventure through the dense Borneo rainforest. Starting from Palangkaraya airport, your local guide will lead you on a river journey filled with wildlife encounters and cultural experiences.

You’ll glide along the river, catching glimpses of Borneo Orangutans and other exotic creatures from a canoe. The cruise down the Katingan River is a highlight, culminating in a visit to Telaga village, where you’ll immerse yourself in traditional daily life and local culture.

The next day brings more excitement with canoe explorations of black water lakes, birdwatching, and encounters with proboscis monkeys, gibbons, and more. A stop at the WWF research center offers insights into conservation efforts, followed by a thrilling night wildlife spotting expedition.

Your final morning includes a jungle trek for animal sightings before cruising to Jahanjang for your return to Palangkaraya Airport or hotel.

This tour blends river sightseeing, wildlife encounters, and cultural immersion for a rich Borneo experience. Make sure to pack antimalarial drugs for your forest and river stay!
