Tangkoko Nature Reserve 2-Day Tour

Day 1: Transfer & Wildlife Exploration (12 Noon)

Transfer by Safari Tours bus or AC 4-pax vehicle to the Tangkoko Nature Reserve. The 2-hour scenic drive passes through small villages and lush landscapes. Upon arrival, check in to Tangkoko Hill Cottage & Resto or an equivalent accommodation.

Meet local forest rangers and start exploring the 9000-hectare National Park. Search for the Black Crested Macaque, hornbills, and cuscus, among other unique wildlife. As the sun sets, venture deeper into the jungle to spot the Tarsius tarsier, one of the smallest primates in the world. After dark, return to the homestay for a basic traditional dinner. Overnight stay at the homestay.

Day 2: Morning Hike & Return to Manado

Wake up early and hike into the forest with local rangers. This is the best time to see birds and more Black Crested Macaques, as they search for food along the Tangkoko coastline. After a few hours, return to the homestay for a traditional breakfast.

Pack up and prepare for the return journey to Manado, arriving between 9 and 11 a.m.
