Itinerary

Arrival Day in Lombok: We will pick you up at Lombok Airport or another location on the island and transfer you to your hotel in Sembalun. Meet your Rinjani trekking guide for an orientation to better prepare you for the journey.

On day 1:

7:00 AM: Wake up and have breakfast.
8:00 AM: Register at the Rinjani Information Center in Sembalun. Begin trekking from Sembalun village, with a gentle climb through open meadows.
10:00 AM: Reach Post 1 (1300m), then continue 40 minutes to Post 2 (1500m).
Lunch: Arrive at Post 3 (1800m) for lunch.
Afternoon: Trek to Sembalun Crater Rim (2639m), a 3-hour climb. Camp at the crater rim and enjoy the sunset and sunrise views.

At day 2:

2:00 AM: Wake up for a hot drink and light breakfast.
3:00 AM: Start the trek to Rinjani’s summit. Reach the summit (3726m) by 6:00 AM for a stunning sunrise and panoramic views of Lombok, Bali, Sumbawa, and Segara Anak Lake.
8:00 AM: Descend to the crater rim for breakfast.
Late Morning: Continue to Segara Anak Lake, a 3-hour descent.
Lunch: Rest, swim in the lake, and enjoy lunch prepared by porters. Bath in hot springs for relaxation.
Afternoon: Ascend to Senaru Crater Rim (2641m) for camping. Enjoy a spectacular sunset over Mount Agung in Bali and views of the new volcano.

Day 3:

Morning: Enjoy sunrise and breakfast at the crater rim.
Descent: Trek through the rainforest to Senaru village (601m), a 5-hour journey with lunch along the way. Look out for rare black monkeys.
End of Trek: Arrive in Senaru village, where a car will take you to your next destination.
