Embark on a 15-day, 14-night private journey from Bali to Komodo Island and Flores, exploring stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife. Pick up at your hotel in Bali, transfer to the airport, and board the flight to Maumere. On arrival, our local guide and driver will pick you up and take you to the hotel for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon, go to Pantai Utara to see the beautiful panorama and relax on the white sand beach, then continue to Wuring to see the fisherman’s village. Dinner and back to the hotel.
After breakfast, drive for around 1 hour, then trek to Guru Sobe waterfall. Drive back to the hotel, and you have the option to have a barbeque on the beach in the afternoon. Stay another night at the same hotel.
After breakfast, the first place that you are going to see is a traditional weaving place. You will witness how the local women do their weaving using traditional tools and they will also perform their traditional dance to entertain you. We then continue to Paga for lunch. After that, we head to Koka Beach to see the white sand beach and relax. Then continue to Wolowaru to see the traditional house and onto Moni for staying overnight.
Wake up at 4 a.m. with a drive to the base of Kelimutu Lake. A short 15-minute trek to the top will enable you to see the three colored lakes and the amazing sunrise. A well-earned breakfast awaits back at the hotel. After breakfast, take a short drive from the hotel to the waterfall, then to Saga to see the traditional houses. After that, drive to Ende for lunch. We then continue to Nanga Penda Beach, which is famous for its blue stones. The coastal town of Riung is our next stop for overnight accommodation.
A day of snorkeling, swimming, and relaxing on the white sandy beach, visiting the island of Kalong to see thousands of flying foxes (bats). Lunch is a barbeque on the beach. In the afternoon, return to the hotel and stay another night.
After breakfast, drive to the west part of Flores. Enjoy the rice field panorama and some villages along the way. Stop in Boa Wae for lunch, then continue to Wogo Village to see the traditional house. So’a Hot Spring is the afternoon visit. Stay overnight in Bajawa.
This is the special thing about this amazing trip because we will trek through the villages on this day. You will see the real daily life of the locals and stay at their house.
After a good night’s rest and breakfast, we head to Aimere, the home of Arak production (a local alcoholic drink made from palm trees). Lunch is in Borong and on Rana Mese Lake, in the middle of the jungle. Ruteng is our last stop for the night.
Around 7 a.m., we leave Ruteng and drive to Denge village. You will be amazed by the beautiful panorama of rice fields and primitive villages on the way. On arrival in Denge village, get ready to do 4 hours of trekking through the jungle to reach Wae Rebo village. Interact with local people to learn the culture. Stay overnight at one of the traditional houses and have dinner together with local people.
After a light breakfast, have a look around the village and take plenty of pictures, then trek back to Denge Village. Continue driving to Ruteng. Stay overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, we head to Ruteng Pu’u to see more traditional houses and onto Cara village to see the amazing spider web rice fields. Lembor is our lunch destination, followed by a trip to Melo for a great display of traditional dancing. The ‘Caci’ dance performance will have you spellbound. You will have an opportunity to dress up and join in with the local dancers. We drive to Labuan Bajo for our overnight stay.
Pick up at 8.30 am at a hotel, then transfer to the harbor, leaving for Kelor Island. Enjoy 1 hour of sailing on a wooden motorized cabin boat. Snorkeling and relaxing on the white sand beach We then continue sailing to Rinca Island to explore and observe the activities of the Komodo dragon (the largest lizard in the world). See them in their natural environment during a one-and-a-half-hour trek. Some other wild animals can be seen, such as wild pigs, wild buffalo, wild horses, Timor deer, and monkeys. Back on the boat for lunch while sailing to Padar Island. On arrival, do afternoon trekking to see the sunset and amazing view. Dinner and stay overnight on the boat.
On the second day, while having breakfast, sail to Komodo Island to see the Komodo dragon and some other wild animals like Timor deer, wild pigs, and tropical birds. The Ranger will lead you during a one-and-a-half-hour trek. Back on a boat, then sailing to Pink Beach to snorkel, swim, and relax. This is an amazing spot for snorkeling, with so many colorful fish and beautiful coral. Back on the boat, we sail to Gili Lawa while having lunch. Relax on the boat till dinner time and stay overnight.
Early in the morning, we go up to the top of Gili Lawa to enjoy the sunrise and amazing panorama. After that, it’s back to the boat to sail to Manta Point while having breakfast. Do snorkeling at Manta Point (we cannot guarantee to see them as it depends on the season). We then continue the trip to Kanawa Island. Lunch will be served on the boat on arrival in Kanawa. After having lunch, take a rest, then go snorkeling and relax on the white-sand beach. In the afternoon, we go back to Labuan Bajo for check-in at the hotel. Relax at your hotel till dinner time and stay overnight.
Check out of the hotel to do a short visit to the local market and Batu Cermin Cave to see stalactite and stalagmite, then onto Komodo Airport for your flight back to Bali.
