Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bukit Lawang

Begin your adventure as we pick you up from Kualanamu Airport or Medan Hotel and drive to Bukit Lawang. Nestled at the edge of Gunung Leuser National Park, this charming village is your gateway to one of Sumatra’s largest rainforests, home to Sumatran orangutans, tigers, and elephants.

Day 2: Jungle Trekking and Overnight Camping

Start your day with breakfast before embarking on an exciting jungle trek. Traverse rugged trails to spot orangutans, gibbons, and hornbills. Enjoy a picnic lunch and learn about the rainforest’s flora and fauna. At the campsite, assist in setting up camp, cook dinner over a fire, and enjoy a magical night under the stars.

Day 3: Return to Bukit Lawang

Wake up to the sounds of birds and gibbons. After a light snack, relax, swim, or explore the jungle. Following lunch, trek back to your accommodation and enjoy leisure time in the village.

Day 4: Journey to Berastagi

After breakfast, drive to Berastagi, stopping to visit the Shwedagon Pagoda Replica and the vibrant fruit market. On arrival, relax at your accommodation or explore nearby villages to experience local culture.

Day 5: Volcano Hike and Travel to Lake Toba

Hike up Mount Sinabung early in the morning, followed by a visit to a hot spring. Later, drive to Lake Toba, the world’s largest volcanic lake, and take in its breathtaking views.

Day 6: Explore Lake Toba and Transfer to Medan

Spend the morning exploring Lake Toba’s serene beauty and discovering its panoramic landscapes. In the afternoon, travel back to Medan for your final night in Sumatra.

Day 7: Departure from Medan

After breakfast, transfer to Kualanamu Airport for your onward journey, ending your unforgettable Sumatran adventure. This trip combines wildlife encounters, cultural immersion, and stunning landscapes, promising memories to last a lifetime.
