Itinerary

Day 1: Medan / KNO Airport – Bukit Lawang

Our driver will pick you up from Medan or Kualanamu Airport (around 3 hours). Travel in a private car with driver and gasoline included. On arrival in Bukit Lawang, check into your hotel with breakfast provided. Relax on your veranda and enjoy the natural scenery.

Day 2–3: Jungle Trekking & Camping

After breakfast, start your two-day jungle trekking adventure at 9:00 am. The trail includes uphill and downhill walks, giving you a real rainforest experience: spot orangutans, monkeys, squirrels, and tropical birds. Your guide will share knowledge about the rainforest and its plants.

• Lunch: Indonesian picnic in the jungle

• Dinner: Cooked over a campfire by your guide

• Camping: Mattresses, blankets, mosquito nets, and tents provided

Sleep under the stars, surrounded by the sounds of the jungle. On the second day, trek back to Bukit Lawang. Optional river tubing is available (excluded). Return to your hotel and enjoy leisure time.

Day 4: Village Walk – Departure

After breakfast, take a scenic walk to a nearby local village. Learn about traditional life and enjoy cultural interaction. Then transfer back to Medan or Kualanamu Airport for your departure.

Jungle Camping Experience

Our campsites are set near rivers or waterfalls. They feature bamboo frames with waterproof covers for shelter. Restrooms are nearby, and fresh forest baths are available. Skilled chefs prepare meals, with coffee, tea, and snacks offered daily. Bring a flashlight for evenings.
